Dear XXXX
You recently let us know that you are interested in finding out more about the Imacon FlexTight CCD scanner, which uses new technology that reduces scanning time and costs.
The best way
to see what the Imacon FlexTight can do is to see it in action, so I'd like to invite you to a demonstration. We'll show you how this scanner can save you both money and time. Just give us a call, or fill in the
enclosed faxback form, and we'll arrange a demo at your convenience.
In the meantime, I'd like to tell you a bit more about the Imacon FlexTight.
One of the Imacon FlexTight's most important
technical innovations is that it eliminates the lengthy process of mounting images on a drum. Because nothing but your original comes between the light source and the image-capturing sensor, the Imacon FlexTight
produces sharper images and higher image quality, while eliminating distortions and Newton's rings.
I don't think it has ever cost so little to produce images this good. While $24,500 may be more than what
your current scanner costs, comparable machines on the market, using older technologies, cost four times as much.
This is the scanner you need if you have always wanted better quality scanning, or if you
want to replace or augment your current high-quality scanners.
The Imacon FlexTight is not only solid value for the money, in and of itself, but it also saves you time and money elsewhere. Using the Imacon
FlexTight means that you spend less time rescanning distorted images. Scanning an image takes just seconds with the Imacon FlexTight, so you can scan as many as 15 high-res images an hour.
We're quite proud
of this product here at DPI. We've always prided ourselves on the excellence of our customer service, and a crucial part of that excellence is our use of high-quality products. That's why we agreed to be the North
American service depot for the Imacon FlexTight. Not only do we sell these scanners, but we also service them, building on our established record for repairing, calibrating and troubleshooting everything from the most
sophisticated digital imaging technology to basic computer networks.
How the Imacon FlexTight works
This scanner operates on neither the flatbed nor the drum principle. Instead, you put your
original in a holder that consists of two flexible magnetic plates whose aperture dimensions are slightly smaller than the dimensions of the original. The scanner then flexes the image, providing completely straight
scan lines that stay sharply in focus. All you do then is put the holder on the light table, align it with the built-in grid, and hit a button ... no tape, gel or oil. The whole procedure takes just a few seconds, much
less time than it takes to use a conventional drum scanner.
Because of a technology called Direct Analogue to Digital Conversion, the critical noise-sensitive analogue channel is kept as short as possible.
This way, you get 8,000 levels of colour in each channel.
This is also a very flexible machine. By scanning 35mm transparencies up to 4800 dpi, and A4 reflective originals at 700 dpi, you can create crisp
enlargements of up to 2000 per cent!
What's the bottom line?
At DPI, we always look for the best products for our clients. A better product that also costs less money isn't something we see every
day. But this scanner creates sharper images, for only a quarter of the price of comparable machines. How? Because the Imacon FlexTight uses a new technology that gets rid of the glass that distorts images and the
mounting process that costs you valuable time and money.
We'd like to show you what the Imacon FlexTight can do for your business. We'd be delighted to arrange for a demonstration of this scanner at your
convenience. All you have to do is fill in the enclosed form and fax it back to us. We'll take care of the rest.
I look forward to hearing from you very soon!
Sincerely,
Dean Karakasis
